Ah very interresting !
In the development branch of Tiny ERP, you have a new type of action:
ir.actions.url. That's an action that opens a URL. It has been mainly
used in eTiny but now we can think about using this action in the GTK
client with what you are doing.
The module base_url_menu, allows you to create new menus which are
simply url to others locations. Very helpfull to add links in menus
for documentations, portal ressources, ...
This may be the solution to include the calendar view in the GTK
application.
