Yes, that is actually how I discovered OpenERP was from the announcement on the Magento site. I had decided against magento because it was slow but now it is going faster with the 1.1 release. However, I think I still like this other one, Live Cart (www.livecart.com) better than Magento, mainly because I like the backend admin area. And it's easy to template, and the developer is creating a bridge to Joomla too. But pretty much everything you said went over my head!
Can I create all my various accounts in the ERP? And I'm talking about daily accounting activities as well as the customer management. How do deposits work in this ERP? For quickbooks, we create sales receipts and then "make deposit" in a batch. I don't see anything at all like this in the ERP so this is why I wonder if it's even possible. Then there's the aspect of being able to import my quickbooks file into the ERP, which I"m guessing is not possible? _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
