It will only list printers installed on your system, not on the server itself. IMO nobody have more than 6 printers installed (e.g. color printer, black/white laserprinter, labelprinter, plotter) > usually users will use only a very small subset of available printers. > So it would be nice to allow "set default printer" for the user and > eventually different printers for some reports (color printer, label > printer,...) I mention that already, when Fabien ask for new ideas forum (http://openerp.com/forum/topic5472-15.html) but unfortunately it wasn't chosen. But sometimes you want to send your invoice by email, so you have to make a PDF WITH your company background (yes we want that [Evil or Very Mad] ) and send it with email. Other times you want to print on real paper. Thinking of your idea : What kind of default printer do you want to set? E.g. saleorder are printed on a printer near the sale-department. The department where invoices were printed is on the other side of the building, but they want to print a saleorder ........... when you have set a default printer for the report, they have to walk to the sale-department to get their saleorder. So I would mention to get the default printer from the system and select that printer already in the selection-list, so the people have to click on "OK" when they want to print. _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
