I had also been considering an example of changing the Sales order - Invoicing WF based on the type of product chosen in a Sales order.
As an example: lets say - Sales orders for "OpenERP online" have to do though a step where the customer is automatically provisioned in the online platform. - Sales Orders of IT Equipment have to going through a state where they are confirmed by the "warehouse manager", - sales orders for "IT consulting" have to go through a step where a Project is opened up and filled out.
