Hi, We would like to sell a promotional pack consisting of several products. So we created a product 'promotional pack' with a phantom Bill of Materials with all the underlying products.
We create a sales order with the promotional pack. The production module effectively creates the right orders for the several physical product. However a production order is also created for the 'fictional' promotional pack. As a result, at the end of the production, we have a promotional pack in the inventory. However, this is not conform to the reality. The products inside the pack are the ones in the inventory and the ones that will eventually be packaged and shipped (not the pack). Is there a way how we can sell (=use in the sale order) 'promotional packs' while producing, stocking, packing and shipping only the individual products? If customization is required, any ideas where/how this could be implementated best?
