Anyone have any opinions on the On Demand pricing? To me, the On Demand pricing seems a bit "pricey". For a 10-person company, we're talking about 16800 EUR for the year (and every year after) and for that price, you only get 600 MB of storage and 3 hours of technical support.
http://www.netbooks.com/ is ~400 USD or ~300 EUR per month for 10 users. Xtuple (http://www.xtuple.com/pricing) for 10 users would be 12000 USD or ~9400 EUR. Am I missing something here in regards to the OpenERP value proposition relative to On Demand? Certainly OpenERP is feature-laden. But, documentation needs a lot of work and you only have 3 hours of technical support to get up to speed. I think a significant cut in prices would do a lot to spur demand for service as well as make people more interested in giving On Demand a try. Maybe an ex-Oracle person is running On Demand! -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openerp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=26106#26106 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
