@justadev,

We have a few customers already in prod with v4.2.3 and heard about a quite few
other ones. Bare in mind that there is more that the 'success stories' listed
at openerp.com, much more actually. We also have two customers where v5 is
being implemented and hopefully running in prod at the beginning of January (we
would help them whatever it cost to be running fine, that's cheaper than
migrating later and v5 is already pretty stabilized for IT guys like us). We
are also just starting a few others now too.

Ok, we will make it more official about our customers as soon as we totally
finish their deployment so that will be more legitimate, so sorry for not
citing them publicly here now.

But may be you'll be interested to read that older topic which was a very
similar topic:

Finally, I think you really should go v5 now. It incredibly better past the few
current regressions (very few right now, take the trunk, not the alpha).
OpenERP is growing at an incredible rate, so no previous version got a tenth
the work that has been incorporated into the current version. That's really the
distributed SCM - Bazaar - plus the largest real case feedbacks from all the
partners, plus the size of Tiny.be itself now that are making that version a
revolutionary Milestone.

BTW, Tiny.be is also officially implementing OpenERP at the ENA school that's
were most of the French ministers are formed. They also won a large Bruxelles
bank lead.

Anyway, hope you find what you want. Clearly we are still at the start. If
OpenERP was Linux, I would say it's Linux in 2004, not Linux in 2008. So that's
still not for everybody and it's very important to see first were it fits and
were it doesn't. But we are getting there and you might certainly help us.

Raphaël Valyi.
