I have begun evaluating this system and think it could be the answer I've been looking for. There are some specific functions I've been seeking, and wanted to find out if OpenERP offers this...and if so, which modules are needed to make it happen.
Basically I'm looking for the following: - ability record time against a customer job - ability to record expenses against a customer job - be able to bill the customer for any time/expenses that have been incurred against a job - ability to bill a customer for mileage incurred against a job My focus to date has been on the services company profile settings. And while some of the items listed above are very straight forward, I can't seem to see how to get mileage and expenses billed back to a customer. Perhaps I don't have the correct modules installed? I've played around some with the analytic accounts, but perhaps there's something from that direction that I'm not doing? Any thoughts/guidance is much appreciated. (I also have only been looking at the 4.x version...not the 5.0 version.
