Hi, I try to figure out how the configure Open ERP to do the following:
I have a sellable product A, I produce, based on a 'make-to-order' procurement method. The BOM of the product A is: - 1 unit of product 1 - ... Product 1 can only be bought in bulk: - in a pack of 600 units - in a pack of 1500 units - in a pack of 3000 units First question: what is the best way to setup the (purchase) UOMs of product 1. If I want to produce 700 units of product A and the inventory of product 1 is zero, I need to buy the 1500 unit pack. If I have a stock of 400 units and I need to produce 1000 units of product A, I only need to buy the 600 pack. Second question: Can Open ERP handle this kind of logic? Are there maybe some workarounds? Any suggestion is welcome...
