Tq,

I wanted to use terp but the documentation is so sparse it's almost
non-existent. I've posted two messages to the mail list about problems
creating and connecting to the database. No replies. I know Python and many
of the requisite libraries and was looking forward to applying it to my
business needs. But, apparently no one cares.

Instead, I found SnapCRM and I'm starting to enter data because I have to
get on top of my selling efforts. It has all the features I need (or want),
but it's 1) written in java rather than C/C++ or Python, 2) uses a web
browser for the UI, and 3) requires Adobe's Flash to use. The first two are
less than desireable as far as I'm concerned, but the reliance on Flash is
pitiful. It is difficult to see (e.g., light cyan on white), I cannot copy
data from my jpilot contact database so every field has to be manually
typed, and the focus seems to be more on eye candy than functionality.

I'm terribly disappointed at the lack of interest in my problems getting
up and running and in supporting what could be a good product.

Rich
