Hello, I consider that a wiki is not a good tool fro writing quality books and documentations. The wiki looks like a merge of non organized contributions where as the rst system we use allows a better rendering, a clena organisation and authors can use the editors of their choice.
We can not have two documentation channels, otherwise we will spread contributions efforts and will quickly have deprecated materials. So we decided to go launchpad-bzr + rst. Just compare the wiki and http://doc.openerp.com For translations, I think you should try tools like We need the following pages in the community book asap: 1. How to contribute in the documentation ? 2. How to translate books ? Anyone interested to write this ? For 1., the process should look like: * Subscribe on launchpad * Join the community team on launchpad * register your ssh key * branch lp:openobject-doc * Do your modifications * push modifications to the same branch For 2., it's quite similar: * branch lp:openobject-doc * translate some pages * push to another branch (assign the branch you create to the community team) -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=32678#32678 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
