We've just released the third beta of OpenObject KDE client. This new release
features several improvements from previous beta:

- Support for 5.0 wizards and attachments.
- New "Update all selected records" menu action to update some fields in a
bunch of records at the same time has been added. Note the action can be
hidden using ktiny server module in a per role basis. So only advanced users
can use it.
- Much improved model handling including bugfixes and important performance
improvements.
- New subscription mechanism allows updates in client to appear just after a
new record has been added, removed or modified by any other client. This
functionality can be enabled globaly using the 'ktiny' server settings. Other
views with auto refresh set will also benefit from this if ktiny module is
installed on the server.
- Improved windows installer installs Microsoft Redistributable package
silently (installer is only 14 Mb).
- Improvements in jasper-reports module allow passing a list of dictionaries
to the report renderer.
- Recover silently from disconnections in Pyro protocol.
- Improved export to Excel, so numeric values are imported as such numbers,
not text.
- New 'type' attribute in tree views, makes use of a list [1] or table [2]
instead of a tree.
- Several bugfixes.

All this added to the already available features of the beta2 release, code
named pyro, which honoured the new Pyro protocol suported by Koo that makes
it possible to work with a server on the Internet with great performance.

Note that server modules have not been tested against 5.0 yet.
