Hi, I installed the addon and configured using http://"ip address" and port number "8069" Enter the superuser username and password and made connection. It was a simple task.
As you, I first made sure that my Web interface and client were working. Not to sure why yours does not work but at least my reply may encourage you to continue as it does work.
