Hi, When experimenting with encoding of bankstatements I found it quite strange that the starting balance can be altered on creation of a new statement.
Since it is linked to a bank account with a current balance, I assume that it should be the value of the current balance. If the starting balance of your statement is different from the balance in ERP, you shouldn't be able to enter the statement at all because you might have missed a statement. Maybe this is due to the fact that one can encode entries on the accounts manually? But in that case I think there should be checked if the starting balance is correct as well. Maybe it's me being unfamiliair with the system yet.
