Hi,
I read that Open has been integrated with OpenEMR. I understand that OpenEMR
has functionality of Medical Practice Management, Billing and an EHR.

Is anyone using this ?

I have worked on VistA, (not to be confused with Microsoft's VistA operating
system),a US military Veterans Administration's, widely acclaimed Integrated
Health Information system, software, which runs the VA's 1300 odd medical
facilities, from small outpatient clinics to 1000 bed hospitals. Have over 5
million patients. It has been running for over 30 years. It is also available
under Open Source.

Unfortunately, as it was not designed as a "commercial package", though for
medical purposes it is great, it lacks functionality for non-VA processes in
Practice Management, Billing , Inventory etc. Probably OpenERP it can be a
good complement to VistA.
