thank you for the point. Do you mean this message would not be originated by OpenERP ? just reproduced and logged by OpenERP ? or do you mean OpenERP server instead of system ? Anyway, I'm not able to identify the piece of software which formats it in OpenERP. My approach was different, I was thinking OpenERP tries somehow to connect as root to a service and gets this message back from it. A French answering service by the way. OpenERP might also create this message upon bad connection attempts, for example on ftp port, but this port is not accessible from outside on this server. Still puzzled.
