you are right, i also downloaded the file but missed installing it as it was not listed
in the document. Now i can run the "python setup.py py2exe" without any errors.
But when i try to "makensis /DVERSION5.0.0-alpha setup.nsi" i get the following
error at the end:

Have you installed GTK for windows in C:\GTK ?
