At NaN we've made available under GPLv3 a library we're developing to help in enterprise document processing. Mainly things like invoices, orders, contracts, etc. We've got backends for OCRs tesseract and cuneiform and also for barcode and datamatrix.
It also provides a plugin for scanning documents directly from Koo OpenObject KDE client and an OpenObject module for document queue processing (tested with 4.2 only ATM). All in all, it allows attaching and executing desired actions from scanned documents. Things such as invoice conciliation o automatically attaching provider orders are possible with this framework. Note however that it highly depends on document image quality and needs to be adapted to each customer needs.
