If you would look at the shared funding projects, you would notice that the funding meter disappeared too. It makes me conclude that people who share funded the projects were actually fooled by "editor" :). They bought a license, just like the proprietary software. It seems that Tiny are not going to release them, or will do only when there is a free alternative.
It is obvious that nobody are going to implement ERP system for period of year or a little more, so inevitably one will have to migrate to new versions... If one have to buy a last small screw to make the whole mechanism run reliably, it is no difference when you have to buy a whole mechanism. This behavior cripples free software spirit as a whole, and gives all the aces to the defenders of proprietary software. There is no benefit from ERP if you can not run it for more than a year or two. One can call this as a service - on eBay there is common practice that product costs little to nothing but the shipping costs as much as the ordinary product +shipping. The catch is that shipping is not refundable when the product is not what you intend it to be. I am not saying that OpenERP is bad, I am just describing business model. I would not pay for this script to the Tiny, it is better to make one "in house" or share fund it. Else there will come more and more such scripts for which you'll have to pay just like for an ordinary license. sraps ------------------------------------- http://kndati.lv -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=39107#39107 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman2/listinfo/tinyerp-users
