I think problem is not the shop. We have been working during months on this connector. We have built even and advanced connector to connect with Oscommerce shops where some contribution could be installed like header tags, ultra pics, VAT number, customer groups, separate price per customer (sppc) and quantity products breaks price (qpbc). Our biggest problem was not building the connector code but dealing with UTF-8 problem. Case is the same shop, where spanish languaje is installed and it is set as default language with database collation on iso_spanish_ci or iso_general_ci... It's necesary adjusting the synchro.php file depending on the OpenERP server environment. Without changing the store configuration or collation, if OpenERP server is located on an Ubuntu 8.04 server you can't include utf-8_encoding function on synchro file because you will obtain token or junk after document error. If it is located on an 9.10 server or under windows you HAVE to use utf-8 encoding function because otherwise you will obtain unicode decode error. We have tested agains 4 different real oscommerce shops, on 3 different OpenERP server environments. If your default language on the shop and OpenERP server is english there is no problem at all. Everything goes fine. Wishing someone could give us a clue to solve the problem once for ever... thank you very much... Ahh... if you finkd interesting for us to going up the advanced connector, to launchpad tell us, but it will be only usefull if the shop has got installed ALL contributions I told before. Otherwise each one should adjust the openerp-synchor.php file and advanced connector code to their own needs.
