You can use the mail gateway, just connect it to your server. You receive the url of the your server on odoo when you subscribe. The configuration is in the documentation, you have to install the small script on your own mail server. In next version of Open ERP, this will be integrated in the module so that you can configure the mail fetching directly in the UI.
