We have developed a touch screen based epos system for the UK that is independent of OpenERP. We would be interested in testing any module that you produce. Our customers process a high volume of transactions and we will probably want to only pass summaries of daily trading to OpenERP. However we can easily do this within your existing plans.
If you plan to offer a mulit-store solution, you will need to add some way of managing stock transfers that are initiated from the EPOS system.
