@rvalyi: Thanks for your suggestion but i thought the module "account_layout_invoice" is the newer version of "sale_layout"
@Bounaberdi: Thanks for your reply but i am no programmer and still learning OpenErp. I saw in the html client there is a way of adding fields to objects but i did not find the right place for quotation lines... so any other hint would help a lot ;) (Collecting breadcrumbs...) Anyway what is the point of having the module "account_layout_invoice" then: I think a lot of companys do first create a quotation and then convert it to an invoice. Most of the time the invoice has only minor changes over the quotation so having to regroup all the lines again seems a lot of work for me with no point at all to it?!? And sorting the lines of a quotation seems a basic and most needed function for me in such a programm?!? Also the modult account_layout_invoice has a subtotal and some other features - how hard would it be to rewrite this module to work for quotations also?!? Like i said i am no programmer but i looked at the module and it does not seem so hard to rewrite this module to work for quotation also?!? At least if you know the objects in openerp well?!? So if there is any programmer up for this task or any other volunteers needing this functionality please send me a message!
