We try to use OpenERP in our company but the concept of a project seems very limited in OpenERP. For us a project is the focus point for all of the activities related to a project. This would include - tasks - time spent - invoices, orders, purchcases - CASES (MEETINGS...), EVENTS ?
but i did not find a way to view all the invoices related to a project nor did i find a list of linked cases?!? (linked through the "reference" field in a case) i know that for invoices i can at least view all the analytic lines related to that project but it is still not very comfortabe to search manually for the invoices related to the analytic lines! For cases i found no way to find out (from the project view) what cases are linked?!? Did i miss something or are cases totaly unrelated to projects?!? By the way: for what are these portal_ modules?!? I thought i get a webpage or something for my custommers to contribute to a running project but except for a new view in some of the modules i did not find anything useful?!?
