Hello everyone, I am currently installing openERP on a WinXP sp2 development/experiment box to try out this software for a non-profit.
I am looking for a solution that would fit the following criteria: 1. Document Management (currently using knowledgetree) to handle large amounts of training, administration and day to day forms, books, images, etc. that are accessed daily from different people, who read and/or edit them. 2. CRM (using sugarce) I use the crm as a tool to keep track of contacts relating to different agencies, non profits and businesses that i work with around the world and it is used for keeping track of what each one does relating to human trafficking. 3. Shared and unshared calanders, wikis 4. Accounting, inventory - on hand, inventory - given/donated to, network inventory. 5. case management - this one here i am referring to as case management for keeping track of those we help. basically if you were running a shelter you would have to keep track of personal, medical, room/bed assignment, social services, notes, screening information. 6. Investigations - in the area that i am working in involves locating, identifying, rescue and restore. we need a way to say start an investigation, keep track of notes and anything relating to that investigation including pictures. no different than what law enforcement does. numbers 5 and 6, mainly only have proprietary options out there. but #6 is no big deal for now. >From what i have read there are modules here that will work for me, but i am >unsure about #5 and 6. I am patient. I want to put together a single program >with modules instead of having to use up to 5 different programs that the >human trafficking and shelter communities can use. I have a feeling that i may have to develop a module or two. Any help is appreciated. ------------------------ Joseph -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=45358#45358 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman2/listinfo/tinyerp-users
