Hello, this kind of question is traditionnally asked on Fridays, you are quite on time ;-)
There are many linux distributions and each one has its fan club with strong arguments. For a standalone server I recommend proxmox virtualization server. It is based on Debian lenny with an OpenVZ enabled kernel. You need a 64bit server and hardware raid disks. I install openerp-server, openerp-client-web and apache_proxy on three separate minimal Debian lenny containers. OpenERP software is installed from sources, not from packages. regards ------------------------ Dominique http://sisalp.fr , Hébergement gratuit OpenERP V5 sur http://bdll.fr -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=48815#48815 -------------------- m2f --------------------
