I am setting up a service firm in Open ERP and I'm basically following the
method from this forum post (http://openobject.com/forum/topic11018.html).

In my industry though, you don't always invoice exactly the hours worked on the
job. You will give a quote for a job, or have a standard price up front. Then
you may complete the job quicker than you quoted, so you then would "write on"
from the timesheet costs more costs to get it up to the quote.

Similarly, if you spend to many hours on a job, you would need to "write off"
the extra cost to get to the correct invoiced amount.

Is Open ERP able to facilitate this kind of arrangement? If so how would it be
implemented?

Alternatively, what would be the setup if you just want to track the hours and
time cost on a job, but invoice seperate from that time, for instance, the
quoted invoice amount, or if you also want to add extra expenses/disbursements
to the final invoice? What would the best way to do this?
