thanks hda, let me elaborate further, perhaps there is a better way but whenever i had modifications, i would un-install the module, delete it from the list, delete the directory, delete the rows in ir_model and ir_model_data tables, restart the server (stop and start the service) and than copy the new directory in addons, install the module ...
