Hi all, I have read many posts regarding the ecommerce module. I have installed everything on the recommended ubuntu version (hardy). I used openerp-allinone-setup-stable.sh which pulls the latest releases of the modules. This way I had no problem installing the ecommerce server module. I also pulled the ecommerce web module with bzr and got that one installed. The thing is that you can test it with the command python "start-tinyerp.py" , install it with the command "python setup.py install" and start the installed version with the command " /usr/bin/start-tinyerp". I have modified the dev.cfg , the "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/eTiny-4.3.0-py2.5.egg/config/default.cfg" and the "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/eTiny-4.3.0-py2.5.egg/tinyerp/static/ecommerce/ecommerce.html" as stated in the posts.
I now see that the tiny server is running on port 8081 but I haven't been able to connect the browser to the site using the url's localhost:8081 or http://sitename.extension:8081/eshop or whatever combination. I also cannot find any logfiles of the tiny-erp server. I feel that I have gotten so close and now want to ask anybody to point me in the right direction or with the sollution to get it all working.
