Hello to everyone,
I'm testing open erp and tried to create a timesheet and then confirm and
validate it, but have some problems. I read the documentation and do some
trials, but found no response to the problem.
After created the demo sample, I created 2 user accounts; the first one,
called "foo", that belongs to "Employee", "Human Resources/Attendances User"
and "Human Resources/User" groups without roles: say this is an employee and
and fill the timesheet for one week period.
To do this task, for example, I clicked on "Timesheets"->"My timesheets"->"My
Current Timesheet" and the filled the "Description" with a description ("Second
week january"), "Date from:" (with 01/04/2010) and "Date to:" (with 01/08/2010).
After this I created the various records (I filled only 01/07/2010 and
01/08/2010) and clicked on "Confirm" button but nothing happens.
The second account, "chief", belongs to "Employee", all Human Resources related
groups and "Product/Manager" group. The "chief" is configured so it is
responsible for the "IT" Department and "foo" account is a member of "IT"
department (but "chief" is not a member).
So, I login in "chief" account and go on
"Timesheets"->"Timesheets"->"TImesheets to validate" to see if there is a
timesheet to validate, but I obtain nothing, so if I go on "Timesheet to
confirm", I find the timesheet created by "foo" user: obviously, even if I
select the timesheet to edit it and then in the following screen I click to
"Confirm" I obtain nothing.
I tried to insert the role "Timesheets validation" in "foo" account but without
success (then I added to "chief" but no result); I even added, in "chief", all
the groups that are present in the "admin" account, but, another time, without
acces.
Obviously, if I enter with the "admin" account (that is not set to belon to
"IT" department) I can confirm the timesheet (so it passes to "Confirmed"
state) and then to validate (so it passes to "Done" state).
Could someone help me and explai why I can't do the confirm and the validate on
timesheets?
