Hi, 1. Categories are not exported from openerp to magento but can be imported to openerp from magento.
Products can be exported from openerp to magento. Also sales orders can be imported/updated to openerp. Follow Magento-Connection>>Core Settings>>Magento Instances>>Magento shops. Here you can find the relevant buttons. 2.
