First, sorry for my english: I hope you understand me. In my situation, I created new views on some objects (like res.partner and account.analytic.account) and also some new reports and actions/wizard. The new views is for specific users groups, and for this reason I don't want to display for them some right sidebar option, like for example "Mass Mailing" or "Labels" for res.partner object, but only new.
So to hide this report/action from right sidebar you have to go to the menu: Administrator -> Low level -> Actions and then go to "Report XML" or "Window action" or "Auto composition" menu and search the correct report/action. When you find it, open the form mode and add in "groups" field only groups that can display the subject report/action. Save and reload the main menu for the user: the action/report from right sidebar disappear. For example: to hide "Labels" from res.partner, go to menu Administrator -> Low level -> Actions -> Report XML and search for "label"; add correct groups (only groups that can display report) and save it. That's all! Another example: to hide "Company architecture" from res.partenr form, go to menu Administrator -> Low level -> Actions -> Window action and search for "company"; the procedure is the same. For "mass mailing" the menu is go to menu Administrator -> Low level -> Actions -> Auto composition. Now: for me all work great! I hope also for you. Tell me if not.
