This is one of the special characteristics of Open ERP. Stock uses double entry principles (which may or may not be relevant) and allows stock levels to go negative so that incomplete data entry does not stop your whole production from locking up. You may have perfect data entry in your company, but I've worked in a place where the system said 'zero stock' and operatives could see components on the shelves that they weren't allowed to use because goods in had not finished their data entry. coolmanlg wrote: > ... It is not clear in the documentation. A common problem, which is addressed better with Open ERP than many systems. But you'll still need to write your own in places like that, to meet your own precise needs. coolmanlg wrote: > ...The POS module is not integrated with the sales module.. I expect you've read all the background to that around in these forums and elsewhere. As far as I can see when somebody says 'POS' they could mean many things, so there's little consensus about what it should contain. coolmanlg wrote: > ...I hope am able to get response to this issues. .... I expect that you would if you engaged OpenERP sa or one of their partners to respond. ------------------------ Regards, Geoff Seath Solutions Ltd (http://www.seathsolutions.com) -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=58047#58047 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman2/listinfo/tinyerp-users
