hello, xoe is the script which automates our free openerp hosting. xoe is a bash script tested on debian, developed since 2006. you get the (long) list of commands with xoe --help the embedded documentation xoe --readme is out of date
xoe allows you to declare your openerp-servers, client-webs and clients in a configuration file and then manages all of them : download, update, start, stop, watch, backup etc... It is part of a suite of several scripts and therefore configuration set-up is scriptable. I know some people use it, but most studied the code to build their own script. xoe is not a tool for dummies, it doesn't hide complexity. It is a productive tool, which minimizes time to add a new subscription on our servers. If I understand correctly, moa from camp to camp may advantageously replace part of xoe in usual contexts.
