We added a selection drop down on a new tab within the partner contact screen. We have added values in the field selection field in the object editor. However that field only allows for so many characters before I cannot enter any more.
So we decided to look at how the title field works. Where you can enter information into the module Partners title. However I cannot work out through editing the object or view, how it relates to the values in the titles module. Now so far, I have not made any changes to the code and do not have very good experience in programming. I am sure this can be done via the interface, but would just like some guidance to how. I know to be able to fully use Open ERP, you need Python/programming experience. However what I am trying to achieve here is a little customization. If there is a doc. which gives me full details or a howto. I am happy to read it. Just point me into the correct direction.
