@dukai,

our position for Akretion is that we use OOOR (the base lib for OERPScenario) a
lot in various situation: install automation, data loading, web sites, with
TerminatOOOR... We are committed to it, maintain it, make it evolved, refactor
it over Rails 3 ActiveModel eventually etc...

We are very interested in OEPScenario and this is one of the potential usage I
imagined when I designed OOOR. Wwe run it from time to time, but would actually
be happier to see it automatically running after each commit on OpenERP or
nightly to prevent regressions such as those that still occur today even in the
"stable" version https://bugs.launchpad.net/openobject-addons/+bug/613063 (even
if its getting better overall every day).

We would like to sale more TDD projects ourselves, but currently, because we
are still small (5 engineers/consultants), it's a bit hard to attract large
quality projects that do put value on TDD (with reason larger projects with
engineers involved an the customer side are ready to pay for that eventually).
We also still have not enough small project to factor the TDD between them.

So so far, for us OERPScenario is more of an investment. We assume we do our
part in that process by providing OOOR and supporting it very actively.

Still, we totally defend the idea of an external cross module + complete +
business readable test suite such as OERPScenario and think that while more
unit tests are thrown inside the trunk version with the new YAML stuff, a
serious ERP can't make the economy of such an external + cross module test
suite; only bloating the pseudo unit test suite is by no means the silver
bullet while it's certainly useful if they don't interfer so heavily with the
required custom developments, this is my message to OpenERP S.A.

We will provide free support for OOOR for OOOR users that contribute to
OERPScenario without any doubt, and possibly contribute more to OERPScenario as
it's growing and as we are growing. Good luck.
