+1 Dia must be use to create only prototypes. Yes, you can even develop simple addons, but it's not supposed to be a RAD. What we can see in the various videos is just marketing. Regarding documentation, we have to keep in mind that we are a community. At the moment everyone rants about the lack of docs, but no one starts writing good docs (me included) :-( thankfully, we have plenty of good examples. just have a look at the addons and extra addons. grep is our friend. The big problem is that this is not enough. For example: what's the meaning of 6,4 and 0 in "some_m2m_field: [(6,0,[1])]"? searching docs and memento there's no reference to that params. I found something on a google's cached page of the developers book. And what about the very useful <delete> tag? Nothing inside docs, just one example somewhere i cannot remember now. Luckily, OpenERP is open source and we can search its code. Otherwise no one could write a line. ------------------------ Davide Corio davide.co...@domsense.com http://www.domsense.com -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=60436#60436 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman2/listinfo/tinyerp-users
