My Asterisk module that we will publish soon will implement click2dial from OpenERP, nothing more (at least for the moment).
When we think about a full integration with Asterisk, we usually have in mind some additionnal features, in particular this one : when an external call is received by the user, it tries to match the phone number of the remote party with the phone numbers present in OpenERP and, if a phone number in OpenERP matches, it opens the corresponding partner form.
