I usually run TinyViz as
./build/pc/main.exe -gui 30 & (run the program and
make it wait for GUI)
java net.tinyos.sim.SimDriver -gui ( run TinyViz)
and it works with debug messages (after you have exported DBG=usr1)

Hello everyone,
I am trying to test tinyviz. I went to
apps/TestTinyViz and typed make pc, and then in
tools/java/net/tinyos/sim and typed make. Everything went fine. Then
back to apps/TestTinyViz and typed export DBG=usr1 and tinyviz -run
build/pc/main.exe 30. The tinyviz window opens up with the 30 modes. I
followed the trying it out part exactly as described in the lesson 5 of
the tutorial and yet the debug message is not displayed.
I also tried starting the tinyviz with export
DBG=usr1,am and it doesn't work either. Is there something I am doing
wrong? If you can please help.
Thank you very much,
Xenia Economidou
