Makes sense! I guess if we have an OUI, we just need to flash the mote with its 
MAC address and retrieve it when needed, correct?

I can't comment on Xbow.  All I can say is that according to the IEEE,
Xbow does not own an OUI and thus cannot provide a valid IEEE 64-bit
address.
