I just went through this...it appears that you need to have TOS 1.1.10
for the 'Z to work correctly where the mica2 used to do. There may be
some changes to the java/tools directory that are necessary for getting
TOS_Msgs over the UART, but I didn't chase it all the way down.
All my apps are built under the contrib/xbow tree, which is included
on the 1.1.10 CD that I got last summer with a mote order.
I didn't try just overloading the platform/micaz directory. You don't
need to update cygwin to use 1.1.10, and you can just unpackage the
TOS version in a new .../opt tree for comparison sake.
