Well, I found the issues on my own: first, it helps to calculate
the checksum correctly (just because you use the same routine for input
and output CRC doesn't
mean it works correctly for both cases!) and secondly, the correct
address is either the specific mote
address or a broadcast message, NOT the UART address that the mote uses
to send messages
out.
