Another quick question on the GND port:

I've integrated a sensor using TelosADC which compleates a circuit
when pressed(like a switch). It uses the Vcc port on the tmote as the
input. At some stage in its operation, it needs to be grounded. When
the button is depressed, it becomes live (Vcc passes through it and
can be observed using an oscilloscope). This needs to be grounded
with another mote so that the button press won't be detected by the
mote it is actually connected to(if that makes sense)!

However, when I try to do this, the mote still registers the button
press. i don't necessarily need all the voltage to be "pulled" to
ground but I need a enough of a voltage drop for the mote to transmit
a different value(it currently transmits FF F0 when the button is
pressed).

Does anyone know why this is and if so do you have any suggestions on
how I can fix it?

Thanks again

Colin
