Dear TinyOS Users,

Shockfish SA and the LCAV laboratory at EPFL are pleased to announce
TinyNode, a versatile and modular platform for industrial deployments
and research. It is based on a TI MSP430 microcontroller and a Semtech
XE1205 radio transceiver.

The TinyNode 584 is a 40x30mm sized module that can be plugged into an
existing application or on one of the various connectivity boards
available for RS-232, JTAG, LAN, WLAN or GPRS bridging.

The radio chip offers link budgets of up to 130dB, making it ideal for
applications that require high range together with a compact form
factor. The platform is fully supported in TinyOS-1.x compatible and a
TinyOS-2.0 release is planned soon.
