Hi,
I have a question about the prescale factor (Mica 2).
The conversion time for ADC should be 13/14 cycles.
This should mean that depending on the clock frequency, a sampling rate will be achieved like this:
6us Clock period (166.66 kHz)-> Time for one sample: (13 or 14 )* 6us = (78 / 84)us (12.82kHz/ 12 kHz)
How is the relation between the Clock cycle rate and the prescale factor?
32kHz crystal frequency. Rate from 0-7
Why are the names of the factors like this:
TOS_ADCSample60us = 4
TOS_ADCSample120us = 5
TOS_ADCSample240us = 6
TOS_ADCSample480us = 7
TOS_ADCSample120us = 5
TOS_ADCSample240us = 6
TOS_ADCSample480us = 7
This might mean something like that factor 4 has 16.666kHz. What is meant by that?
I think that the real sampling rate with factor 4 is about 6.644 kHz.
!
The
Conversion time should somehow depend on the clock cycle rate and should be different for all prescale factors?
Best Regards,
Patrick
