Andreas, Moteiv Boomerang installs exclusively into /opt/moteiv/. If the install succeeded, /opt/moteiv and its children such as /opt/moteiv/tinyos-1.x/tools/make should absolutely exist. If you do not have these directories, then Boomerang is not installed and I recommend you try installing again.
