If you are using the Oscilloscope application in the tinyos-1.x/apps folder, all of the readings correspond to the light sensor by default (ten 2-byte readings).  The format is little-endian, so you need to reverse to order of the bytes, therefore your data is:
0x0396,
0x0397,
0x0397,
etc.
 
which corresponds to: 918, 919, 919 in decimal.  These are ADC readings in reference to the 10-bit full span of the adc (1024 max).  Take a look at the documentation on the crossbow website for more information on converting your sensor readings into meaningful data or take a look at the tinyos-help mailing list archives on www.tinyos.net

I am using the Xlisten application & Oscilloscope and in lesson-6  the data packet is given as above.I would really appreciate if someone could give me few  more  details about the readings coloum...like the Mote id is found by 9th & 10th Bytes ...Light by 13th & 14th  I want to know which bytes are for Temperature , Battery..MIC...???.
