Hi,

I am using TMote Sky as develop platform and want to connect a GPS(Novatel
SuperStar II) to TMote Sky's UART0 (10-pin expansion).

I am reading tips in http://www.moteiv.com/community/Boomerang_UART0_Sample.

 
My question is: how do we know GPS data is ready to get? The GPS I am using
samples 100 bytes data in every 10 seconds. If I miss the chance, will the
data get lost? I have some difficulty to understand how the UART0 works.
Will the UART0 automatically buffer the data before I read it. Any advice is
appreciated.
