Then is there any plan to implement CC2420 simulation? How accurate is the current packet level simulation?

Is it because CC2420 only provides packet-level interface, that's why there's no CC2420 simulation implementation? So how energy efficient is the hardware implemented MAC in CC2420? Does it mean there's no B-MAC in CC2420?

I personally don't plan to implement simulation support for the CC2420. There's a version that was implemented for 1.x which is reasonably functional but makes a few assumptions which no longer hold in 2.x; porting it would require some, but not a lot of work. If someone were to write a TOSSIM port, I'd be happy to check it in.

"Accuracy" is a tough thing to measure. On one hand, the core TOSSIM interference and propagation model is based off of data from USC; on the other, its noise model is very simplistic, and so you see much less variation in TOSSIM than you do in real networks.
