I found out why I was getting this error. It turns out that the hardware timer that is used for microtimer happens to be the timer that is used with the ZigBee radio on the MicaZ motes. Therefore to overcome this error the microtimer code needs to be altered to use Timer3 instead of Timer1. I just thought I would let people know as other people may have encountered this error.

Both HPLTimer1M and MicroTimerM have defined the handler, and so there are two functions with the same name.
